A Day in the Life of Robin, Volume 4

Oh look, yet another mundane day in my life. I was seriously struggling to find stuff to take pictures of today. Man.

The Rules
Previous Entries: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3

Yet another exciting day in the life of Robin. Look, I even showered and got dressed for you today.

So, my main goal for today was to get my shoes in my closet. Sounds simple, no? Well, not as easy as one might think. This is when I had already filled up the shelf I had saved for my shoes.

And these are the two boxes of shoes that I had yet to unpack. Frak.

I had to resort to putting boxes  on the floor eventually. How many pairs of shoes do I have? Well, today I counted and I have 86 (and that doesn't include the flip flops in the shoe thing on the door). Sigh...I need help.

Later, Mom and I took the puppies for a walk. Only, when we say 'walk,' they get unbelieveably unmanageable, and they are smart dogs since they also know how to spell 'walk,' so we decided to start saying 'feet' instead of 'walk.' Let's see how long it takes them to pick up on it. Katie looks very excited to be on her walk.

I feel like I have to prove to you guys that I live in the middle of nowhere now. Look at the tractors.

And this is the view from our backyard. Notice, no houses in sight.

The bugs were all over me tonight, and for some reason, my mom thought it would be funny to take a picture of me swatting the bugs. Sheesh.

I solved all the puzzles for my Virtual Villagers today! Woot! Now, I'm going to try to get all the awards and have the kids find all the collectables. I'm up to 88 people in my village.

Tomorrow, I'm actually going into town, so maybe I can snap some more interesting pictures for everyone.

"Tuesday had a dream child; she's always on the go"

Wow, your parents' house is even more in the middle of nowhere than mine.

Wow! What are those things that sprout from the ground? They are foreign to me.

I am left with an overwhelming desire to count my shoes. Maybe tonight if I unpack the rest of them?! And I can't believe you actually store them in shoeboxes. How very Carrie of you.

Also, I wish I had a good pic of our village or the forest around it or something, so that I could participate in the "whose parents live in the middle of nowhere" competition that seems to be going on.

Right now, it's a contest between OJ and I about who is cut off from the rest of the world more. We don't have running water a lot of the time. I think I win.

Hee! I am a master organizer and this is the one way my shoes are always organized. I wish I had some of Carrie's shoes! I like to pet the Jimmy Choos when they are on sale at Nordstroms.

Ugh, I know, right? And they are John Deere. Case tractors are much prettier.

I counted and I have 86
Gah! What did I tell you about telling me the number if it wasn't divisible by five? This will torment me in my sleep. You must either get rid of a pair of shoes or go out and buy four more pairs. Sheesh.

I solved all the puzzles for my Virtual Villagers today!
YA YA! Perhaps I will attempt to start over once again and get all the awards and such. How cheesy was it that you just got that message from those ghost people? So not worth all my dead villagers, if you ask me. Maybe the ending is better if you get all the awards...

Well, I could've lied and told you I had 85, but my dad used to say that if I told a lie my boobs would grow, and I really don't want my boobs to get any bigger.

Oh yeah! That secret was completely lame. I was hoping for a more seedy underbelly. They have a sex shack in that village, for crying out loud!

Oh! My best friend has a puppythat looks just like your puppy! Of course, he's not really a puppy anymore, but they are always babies to me!

Hee! Katie's not a puppy anymore either, but she's still a puppy in my parents' eyes. Isn't Katie pretty? She looks more like a Queensland Heeler than our other dog, that's for sure.

I'm loving this pictures-of-the-day posts. I had no idea that you lived in the freaking middle of nowhere. Wow, you get high speed out there? LOL.

Hee! Well, we don't get cable DSL because we can't have cable out here, apparently, but we have highspeed from the satellite. It's a little slower than cable but it's not dial-up. Woot!

And yes, I do live in the middle of nowhere. I used to drive 40 minutes everyday to go to high school.
